March on Washington

Today is the 57th anniversary of the March on Washington. The march advocated for the civil and economic rights for African Americans. Standing in front of the Lincoln Memorial, Martin Luther King, Jr. delivered his historic “I Have a Dream” speech in which he called for an end to racism.
