On Friday, August 21, another black man was killed by police. This time it was in Lafayette, LA.  Trayford Pellerin, 31, was in the convenient store parking lot when officers attempted to apprehend him and he fled the scene and officers took off after him using tasers and gunfire. He was taken to the hospital where he succumbed from his injuries. According to his aunt, Mr. Pellerin was a quiet man with a big heart who enjoyed spending time with his family and cooking. The Mother Emanuel Memorial Foundation sends thoughts and prayers to his family.
